Beautrifully hand painting portrait of woman emerging from the sea. This picture was rendered 2022 during the Juneteenth Celebration a wine walk to remember at The Houston Botanical Gardens. 
 
The woman represents the belife systems, culture and beauty of the ensalved african that was sustained during salvery. The woman adorns her natural hair with broken chains and a simple star adorning her ear all signs of her freedom, power and reslience.
